We contracted The House Mechanix for a complete renovation of our rather spacious master bathroom, creating a brand new walk-in shower, including a shower seat, shampoo cubby and safety bars.  The tile work was extensive: Building the shower, creating a half wall with free standing glass and all new tile flooring.  At Rich's suggestion, we also added floor heat, additional electrical outlets and lighting, along with a custom cabinet/shelving unit built to fit perfectly where a former window seat was located.  Not only was the job completed beautifully, but any issues that arose (as there always are with renovations!) Rich addressed them honestly and executed solutions that exceeded out expectations.  As with any home improvement project, it has led to many others, all of which we confidently hired The House Mechanix and will continue to do so on projects going forward.  We highly recommend Rich's ingenuity, creativity and quality work!

I cannot say enough good things about Rich and House Mechanix.  He recently renovated two bedrooms in our house to create one master suite with a walk-in closet and full bathroom.  Rich and his assistant Jorge were nothing but professional and did a fantastic job.  Working on a 70+ year old home threw a few curveballs during the renovation, but Rich handled each to still accomplish our vision.  I would totally use them for any future projects to out home!

Rich helped us with our kitchen remodel project in our town home in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The project included removal of half of a wall, and installation of ceramic tile flooring, hardwood cabinets, and appliances, including all accompanying electrical and plumbing work. The job is still in progress, as we are waiting on additional parts to be delivered from the cabinet company. Rich is very flexible and easy to work with. He was able to answer any questions we had about the project and provide advice from his professional experience. Overall, Rich was a polite and trustworthy guy who has been a pleasure to work with. His prices are fair and from what we have seen so far, the quality of his work is excellent.
